Nuerosky’s, EEG Beta wave chip measures Beta waves from the human brain. Beta waves are one type of brainwave, generated particularly when a person is anxious or concentrating. By simply wearing the Star Wars Force Trainer headset with the EEG technology, beta waves can be measured and used to trigger a desirable result. Uncle Milton Industries’ executive vice president Frank Adler explains how the toy works: “The wireless headset reads your brainwaves through dry sensor technology and can determine the differences between alpha, beta, gamma and delta waves. This allows a chip inside the Force Trainer to use an algorithm to interpret the data and translate it to physical action, which in this case moves the Training Sphere into different sections of the cylinder.” (2) The three small, dry nodes on the headset are placed on targeted points on the subjects scalp: One goes on the person’s forehead and the two others go behind the ears. These strategic spots are meant to interpret the communicating neurons of the frontal and occipital lobes of the brain.
